KTR Questioned by ACB in Formula E Car Racing Case: 15 Questions Asked Before Lunch Break

BRS Working President KTR appeared for the hearing related to the ACB case registered in connection with the Formula E car racing event, accompanied by his lawyer, Ramachandra Rao.
The hearing was adjourned at 1:30 pm and is scheduled to resume after the lunch break. KTR was questioned for three hours before the break by ACB officials, including Joint Director Ruthiraj, Additional SP Shivaram Sharma, and DSP Majid Khan.
According to reports, ACB officials posed 15 key questions to KTR regarding the cash payments made in the Formula E car race. Some of the questions included:
What role did you play in organizing the E-car race?
Were the cash payments to the organizers made under your supervision?
Why were these payments made while the Election Code was in effect?
Why wasn’t the Cabinet’s opinion sought before making the cash payments?
Were the payments disclosed to the HMDA Board of Directors?
Additionally, there was no RBI permission when Indian currency was transferred to a foreign account in pounds. Who was responsible for securing the necessary permissions?
Lastly, the ACB officials inquired why the promoters backed out of the event, which KTR has referred to as a successful one
