The Aramghar flyover in Hyderabad is prepared for its opening, with the inauguration date expected to be finalised soon.

This six-lane flyover, stretching 4.1 kilometres, is anticipated to enhance traffic flow on the Bangalore Highway, particularly between Purana Pul and Aramghar Junction.

On Saturday, workers were seen applying the final touches to the flyover, including painting rumble strips along the roadway. A site supervisor mentioned that while all construction on the main structure is complete, the inauguration date awaits coordination with both Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

Although the primary structure of the Aramghar flyover is finished, ramps designed to improve accessibility to nearby areas such as Shastripura, Babagadda, and Mahmood Nagar are still under construction. These ramps will facilitate easier access for commuters from these neighbourhoods once completed.

In preparation for the flyover's inauguration, a demolition drive took place in Tadbun, Hyderabad, aimed at removing obstacles and ensuring smoother traffic flow beneath the flyover, thereby supporting its efficient operation.

Once operational, the Aramghar Flyover is expected to significantly alleviate traffic congestion in several key areas, including:

- Aramghar

- Shastripuram

- Kalapathar

- Darul Uloom

- Shivrampally

- Hassannagar

Commuters can look forward to shorter travel times and a more seamless driving experience in these regions, making the flyover a crucial enhancement to Hyderabad’s transportation network.
