The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has streamlined the process for property owners to update their mobile numbers associated with property tax assessments, eliminating the need for in-person visits to municipal offices.
In a move to simplify civic service access and reduce foot traffic at GHMC counters, the corporation announced that citizens can now digitally update their contact information through its official online portal. The update process is accessible via https://onlinepayments.ghmc.gov.in https://onlinepayments.ghmc.gov.in), allowing users to directly link or modify their registered mobile numbers linked to their property tax accounts.
Property owners previously had to visit GHMC ward offices for such updates. With this online facility now in place, residents can initiate and complete the process remotely.
This digital integration is part of GHMC’s broader efforts to digitize public services and enhance taxpayer convenience.
Taxpayers can access the service by logging into the official GHMC online payments portal and selecting the appropriate service for mobile number updation under property tax.
