Hyderabad has been recognized as the fastest-growing city among six major Indian metros, driven by robust infrastructure development and a booming real estate sector. According to the latest India Prime City Index report by Knight Frank India, the city leads in real estate performance, with residential launches growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10% over the past decade.

The report highlights Hyderabad's rising prominence, particularly in the real estate domain, where it outperforms other cities. In contrast, Bengaluru, which ranks second in real estate growth, remains the top choice for commercial occupiers due to its strong service sector and skilled workforce, boasting a 76% workforce participation rate and an impressively low unemployment rate of 1.8%.

While Hyderabad excels in real estate, Delhi-NCR stands out for its exceptional physical infrastructure, notably its vast metro network, the largest in India, which serves 6.8 million daily riders across more than 350 kilometers.

The India Prime City Index also underscores the steady growth of Mumbai-MMR as India’s financial hub, alongside Bengaluru’s socio-economic strides. As cities like Hyderabad continue to grow, they play a crucial role in shaping India's economic future through urban development and real estate expansion.
