Fire Accident at Jeedimetla: SSV Fab Factory Engulfed in Flames, Building Collapses

Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at the SSV Fab factory, a polythene bag manufacturing unit in the Jeedimetla Industrial Estate of Medchal district, Hyderabad. The blaze, which started on Tuesday afternoon, remains uncontrolled despite relentless efforts by firefighting teams.

The presence of a significant amount of plastic raw material on the lower floor has exacerbated the situation, intensifying the fire and posing further risks. Firefighters, with the help of four fire engines, have been battling the flames continuously and expect to bring the fire under control by Wednesday afternoon.

In the incident, the building was completely engulfed in flames, leading to its collapse. Panic spread among residents of the surrounding area, as thick smoke and the threat of the fire spreading created widespread alarm. Fire crews are working tirelessly to prevent the fire from reaching adjacent factories and causing additional damage.
