Top Priority To Narayanpur Reservoir Work: Min Uttam
Hyderabad: Minister for Irrigation Uttam Kumar Reddy has announced that the Narayanpur reservoir will be prioritised as a top project, with an allocation of Rs70 crore for its completion within the year.
During the Gram Sabhas, Uttam Kumar Reddy, who serves as the in-charge Minister of Karimnagar district, participated in the Gram Sabha held in Narayanpur village within the Gangadhara mandal.
Accompanied by Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and elected representatives from the ruling party, he conducted a visit to the Narayanpur Reservoir.
In his address, Uttam Kumar Reddy highlighted that while the previous administration invested significant sums, they only managed to provide water to a limited area. In contrast, the Congress government is developing plans to deliver water to a broader region at a reduced cost.
He expressed his commitment to ensuring that justice is served for the residents of the Narayanpur Reservoir regarding the issue of submergence.
Uttam Kumar Reddy has emphasized that the State government is dedicated to implementing the scheme for all eligible individuals across the four initiatives. Moreover, his administration is diligently striving to improve the lives of people from all sectors of the State.
