TGSPDCL Sets New Standards for Electricity Bill Payments
Users cannot make payments towards TSSPDCL through the wallet app, they need to visit the app or website.

The Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL)
has declared that, from July 1, 2024, all electricity bill payments will be required to be processed solely through the TSSPDCL portal or mobile app.
This change is in response to new regulations from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which now restrict payments through third-party UPI apps such as PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm. As a result, TSSPDCL will no longer accept bill payments via these platforms.
To comply with the new guidelines, consumers need to follow these steps:
1. Download the TSSPDCL mobile app from your app store.
2. Set up your service by inputting the unique service code found on your electricity bill and your mobile number.
3. Input the OTP received on your mobile device and click ‘Register’.
4. After registering, select the ‘Pay Bill’ option.
5. Choose a payment method such as T-Wallet or Billdesk Payment.
6. Complete the payment process.
Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation notification.
