TGPSC announces new job notifications starting May 1, 2025

The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced a major update for job seekers, with new job notifications set to be released from May 1, 2025. The commission has also revealed that the results for Group-1, 2, and 3 exams will be announced within a week to ten days. TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham emphasized that the commission plans to streamline the recruitment process and ensure quicker results this time, in contrast to past delays.

In a bid to improve efficiency, TGPSC is aligning its processes with UPSC and SSC formats. They intend to shorten the exam syllabus for Group-3 by eliminating unnecessary papers, which will make the recruitment process more straightforward. The commission is also considering conducting computer-based and manual exams based on the type of job.

Venkatesham further noted that a question bank would be created with 5,000 to 10,000 questions per subject, and that these questions would be drawn to prepare the exam papers. TGPSC is working on receiving detailed information from the state government about job vacancies by March 31. The recruitment process will be completed within a year, with the new notifications expected to arrive in May.
