The Telangana Government plans to create a Health Tourism Hub in Hyderabad, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced.

He spoke at the 24th anniversary of the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, saying the hub might cover a 1000-acre area.

The hub aims to meet the medical needs of patients from India and abroad, with Basavatarakam Hospital as a key part of the initiative.

The government also plans to build the hub near Shamshabad international airport, spreading across 500 to 1000 acres.

This move aims to attract top healthcare institutions. Hyderabad is popular among patients from Middle East countries, and a green channel will be created to make their accommodation and treatment easier.

The Telangana Chief Minister mentioned N. Chandrababu Naidu's role in developing the hospital and noted that he had the opportunity to compete with Naidu in terms of development and welfare efforts.
