Telangana declares March 28 to April 1 as holidays for schools and colleges

The Telangana government has announced a five-day holiday for schools and colleges in the state, starting from March 28 to April 1, in celebration of the festivals of Ramzan and Ugadi.
March 30 marks the celebration of Ugadi, and March 31 will be a holiday in observance of Ramzan. In addition, March 28 has been declared a special holiday for Muslim employees and students.
For many private schools and colleges in Hyderabad, March 29 (Saturday) will also be a holiday, as they typically follow a two-day weekend schedule.
This break will allow students and staff to enjoy the festivals with their families. The government has also declared April 1 as a holiday, completing the five-day holiday period for schools and colleges across the state.

March 28: Holiday for Muslim employees and students
March 29: Saturday holiday for certain private schools and colleges
March 30: Ugadi holiday
March 31: Ramzan holiday
