Suntek To Ramp Up Rooftop Solar Installations 4 Times

Hyderabad: City-based Suntek Energy Systems Pvt Ltd, a clean energy solutions provider on Thursday announced its plan to ramp up by four times its roof top solar installations to 25 MW per month over the next two years. To achieve this target, the company is going to expand its dealer network to 60 in Telangana, and 100 in Andhra Pradesh, from the current 36 outlets, besides setting up fulfillment centres in Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Maharashtra by March 2025, and entering the US market by mid 2026.
From last year, the Company has installed 2,600 roof top solar in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh under the Central governments subsidy schemes. Overall it has installed 200 MW of residential roof top solar and 128 MW of commercial and industrial solar. During the launch of its new brand, Truzon Solar, Bhavani Suresh, Founder Managing Director, Suntek Energy Systems Pvt Ltd, said: “With the new TVC out with actor Mahesh Babu, we are now going to expand aggressively in the Indian market (seven States) followed by international market starting with the US and later in Africa. We will also enter backward integration by introducing solar invertors and solar panels.” Emphasising on India’s growing commitment to renewable energy, Ajay Mishra, Chairman, IRCS Telangana, said that penetration of roof top solar is comparatively lower than the overall thrust on renewable energy. He urged more number of people to support the country’s clean energy drive.
