Star Air Flights To Jharsuguda, Raipur, Lucknow From Hyd
Hyderabad: Star Air, the aviation arm of Sanjay Ghodawat Group, announced the launch of flight routes connecting Hyderabad to Jharsuguda and Raipur. Starting from January 1, 2025, direct flights will operate between Jharsuguda and Hyderabad, and the connectivity will further expand from February 1, between Jharsuguda, Raipur, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
With this expansion, Star Air provides flight service to a total 24 destinations. Under the gov-ernment of India’s Regional Connectivity Scheme – UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik), Star Air plans to expand its fleet to 25 aircraft over the next three years to provide last-mile connec-tivity to tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The airline currently has a fleet of nine aircrafts, comprising four Embraer E175s, and five Embraer E145s. Capt Simran Singh Tiwana, CEO, Star Air, said: “The launch of new destinations connecting Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jharsuguda, and Raipur represents a significant step forward in Star Air’s mission to strengthen regional connectivity across India.
These flights aim to provide passengers with convenience while contributing to the growth of trade, tourism, and economic opportunities in these regions.” The CEO further said that Hyderabad, known as the pharmaceutical and vaccine hub of India, is also a major IT center, employing many young people from across the nation.
