Hyderabad is ready to be the entry point for those looking to bring investments into Telangana
Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu invited Malaysian industrialists to explore investment opportunities in the State. He was speaking at an event organised by local Telangana NRIs in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. Malaysian industrialists attended the event, held as part of the Telangana Decade Celebrations.
The Minister highlighted Telangana’s favourable environment for industry establishment created through streamlined business policies. He emphasised that strengthening of trade ties between Malaysia and India remains a priority for the government. He further pointed out the cultural similarities between the two nations that make collaboration more natural.
Welcoming investors, Sridhar Babu said that Hyderabad is ready to be the entry point for those looking to bring investments into Telangana. The Minister also extended an invitation to Malaysian entrepreneurs to visit the State, with plans being made for their visit by December.
Reflecting on his political journey, Sridhar Babu shared that he completed 25 years as a public representative on November 10, a milestone that his friends in Malaysia brought to his attention. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who congratulated him on this achievement. He acknowledged the support received from political leaders of the party, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge, crediting them for their encouragement and the importance they have given him in the party.
Sridhar Babu also noted that he has had the privilege of working with four Chief Ministers, each of whom showed great respect for him. He extended special thanks to his colleagues and the public, who have supported him throughout his political career.
