SC Rejects KTR’s Quash Petition In Formula E-Race Case

Hyderabad: Former minister & BRS party working president KTR received a blow in the Supreme Court in a case filed by the State ACB against him. The Supreme Court dismissed his quash petition in the case related to the formula e-car race case. A bench comprising Justices Bela M Trivedi and Prasanna Varai dismissed the petition after hearing it.

It may be mentioned here KTR had recently filed a quash petition in the Telangana High Court seeking quashing of the case registered by the ACB. The High Court refused to do so. He then approached the Supreme Court on January 8 and the petition was filed by him in the Supreme Court challenging the High Court order.

Claiming that the case was registered for political reasons, KTR's lawyer Sundaram informed the highest court that he was currently in the Opposition party.
