Raminfo launches Kisan Drones, a DAAS platform

Hyderabad: Raminfo Ltd, a technology solutions provider on Monday said it has launched Kisan Drones Pvt Ltd, a Drone-as-a-Service platform. The drones will be deployed across agricultural fields for field mapping and fertilizer spraying.
The company plans to launch 100 centres over the next two years across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. The two formats of store is mini and major. The Mini store will provide basic drone store facilities while the Major stores will provide service options with qualified drone pilots present to guide the farmers about different types of drones.
L Srinath Reddy, Managing Director, Raminfo, said: “Kisan Drones is a stepping stone toward our long journey to empower the agricultural sector with advanced technology. From providing access to drones and support services for farmers, we will not only enhance productivity but also unleash a new wave of entrepreneurship in rural India. We will be collaborating with OEM players in the industry to bridge the gap between technology and tradition.”
