Hyderabad: In alignment with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision, Telangana is advancing with world-class infrastructure to enhance tourism, centered on its rich history, culture and heritage, said Minister for Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao.

The Minister said the Telangana State is developing a new tourism policy aimed at not only promoting tourism, but also preserving its heritage. Jupally Krishna Rao, who is on a visit to the US, participated in the Telangana Tourism road show held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Los Angeles. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NRIs, foreign delegates, tourists, and local officials.

Describing Telangana as a blend of tradition and modernity, the Minister highlighted the state's cultural heritage, traditional arts, natural beauty, waterfalls, rivers, temples, folk art, eco-tourism, and medical tourism.

He also spoke about the grandeur of the Bathukamma festival and the vast investment opportunities in Telangana.

Jupally extended an open invitation to international tourists to explore Telangana, a place where cultural hospitality, traditional festivals, and authentic cuisine offer unforgettable experiences.

In addition to tourism, he emphasized the growing investment opportunities in Telangana. He mentioned that Hyderabad, known as Mini India, has emerged as a hub for world-class IT, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries.

The Minister also introduced the "Future City" project, which aims to attract significant investments in IT, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors. This initiative, he noted, will position Telangana as a global destination for investors.

The event was attended by Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director N Prakash Reddy, San Francisco Consul General Chittireddy Sripal Reddy and other dignitaries.
