MATH Nuage programme launched to support AI, ML startups

Hyderabad: MATH, a hub for AI and ML technologies, formed by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), and T-Hub, on Friday announced the launch of the MATH Nuage programme. Under the one-year incubation programme, early-stage and growth-stage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning startups will receive tailored support, advanced technology offerings, and market access opportunities.
An official release said that startups will receive personalised one-on-one mentoring from industry veterans, guiding them through strategic and operational hurdles. The programme also facilitates direct connections with potential investors, boosting their chances of securing critical funding. Moreover, MATH Nuage assists startups in identifying and entering target markets.
Rahul Paith, CEO, MATH, said, “With India’s AI market projected to reach $17 billion by 2027, there is a growing need to provide startups with essential support. MATH Nuage will drive significant success for AI, ML startups in India and globally. We plan to expand the programme across multiple cohorts, increase startup participation, broaden our support services, and forge new partnerships with technology providers and investors.” The application process includes online submission of a detailed information about the technology, team composition, and specific operational requirements. The selection process includes initial screening, subsequent interviews, and presentations in front of an external jury.
