Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is preparing to undertake repair and refurbishment projects at various key stations.
The repair works will take place along Corridor-1. The planned work includes:
LB Nagar Metro Station: Removal and re-fixing of existing railings, along with repairs to footpaths and planter boxes.
Nampally and New Market Metro Stations: Refurbishment of footpaths and planter boxes.
Miyapur Metro Station: Repairs to footpaths.
JNTU, KPHB, and Kukatpally Metro Stations: Improvements to pedestrian walkways and planter boxes.
Balangar, Moosapet, and Parade Grounds Metro Stations: Replacement of 80mm pavers on service roads and footpaths.
The total estimated cost for these upgrades ranges from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 13.30 lakh per project, amounting to several lakhs overall.
