Isuzu Rolls Out 1,00,000th Vehicle From Sri City Plant

Hyderabad: Isuzu Motors India (IMI), a subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Limited, Japan marked a significant milestone as it rolled out its 1,00,000th ‘Made in India’ vehicle, the popular Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross, from its state-of-the-art greenfield manufacturing plant in Sri City. The S Series model, earned the distinction of being the 1,00,000th vehicle.
Dr N Yuvaraj Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Industries & Commerce Department was the chief guest. The event was attended by Dr Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder and Managing Director of Sri City and Sado, Deputy Managing Director of THK and Chairman of the Sri City Japanese Companies Group (SJCG) as guests of honour.
“Our 1,00,000th vehicle rollout at the Sri City plant is a proud milestone showcasing Isuzu’s commitment to global quality,” said Rajesh Mittal, president and MD of Isuzu Motors India. He thanked the AP Government and Sri City MD for their unwavering support and credited the achievement to the skilled workforce, advanced technology, and top-notch processes. Applauding the team, including talented diploma holders from Andhra Pradesh, for their safety and quality excellence, he urged them to strive for greater targets.
Dr Yuvaraj, while congratulating the Isuzu Motors India team on their outstanding achievement, described the event as a proud testament to India’s manufacturing prowess and global competitiveness.
