IKP Unveils Plan To Set Up Biomanufacturing Hub

Hyderabad: IKP Knowledge Park, a Science Park and Incubator, announced its plan to establish a new biomanufacturing hub for clinical materials, at its campus. The state-of-the-art facility, likely to be operational within next three years, will support growth companies and SMEs by providing access to essential biomanufacturing resources.
The announcement was made during day-three of International Knowledge Millennium Conference 2024, the 18th annual flagship event of IKP. The conference took off with the inauguration of the Narayanan Vaghul Building at IKP Knowledge Park, Genome Valley, as a tribute to the late Narayanan Vaghul, the founder of IKP. Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman and CEO of IKP, presided over the inauguration ceremony.
Following the inauguration, the day continued with Genome Valley CXO Conclave, where leaders from IKP’s resident and anchor companies discussed the vision for IKP for the next 25 years. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson, Biocon Group was honoured with the IKP@25 Shapers Award, recognising her support of over 25 years to IKP Knowledge Park.
