IKP Knowledge Park Hosts 3-Day Conference
Innovators pitched their ideas to the Jury members at the Startup Expo at IKMC2024
Hyderabad: IKP Knowledge Park (IKP), a Science Park and Incubator, hosted its 18th annual flagship event, the International Knowledge Millennium Conference (IKMC), with the theme, “IKP@25: An Epic Rhapsody & the Next Symphony,” here.
Business leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers and others attended the three-day conference. Discussions, debates, and collaborations, focusing on progress made in Cell and Gene Therapy, One Health, Smart Proteins and a look at the future, were held.
The first two days of the conference was held at HICC, Hyderabad and it hosted startup exhibition, key note speeches, panel discussions and round table discussions. Over 150 innovators and startups showcased their solutions as part of the Startup Showcase. The third day event is being held at IKP’s science park campus at Genome valley, Hyderabad and will host a panel discussion of the CXOs in Genome valley.
Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman and CEO, IKP Knowledge Park, said: “The success of IKP shows the strength, innovativeness and resilience of the Indian Science Ecosystem.” She recounted the advice and mentorship of many stalwarts and particularly acknowledged the role of Narayanan Vaghul whose extraordinary vision made IKP Knowledge Park possible.
