While several districts observed temperatures below 7 degrees Celsius, Hyderabad’s suburban areas like Madhapur recorded 12.8 degrees Celsius, Quthbullapur saw 13.5 degrees Celsius.
According to the TSDPS, the significant temperature drop is attributed to clear night skies and cold winds sweeping across Telangana. Northern and western districts experienced the brunt of the cold wave.
Meteorologists predict that similar weather patterns will continue over the next few days, with temperatures expected to remain low during early mornings.
