Hyderabad: Massive blast at hotel in Jubilee Hills

A massive explosion rocked Jubilee Hills, sending shockwaves through the neighbouring area. The blast, which occurred at Telangana Spice Kitchen on Jubilee Hills Road No. 1, caused widespread panic among locals due to the sheer intensity of the noise.

The incident took place on Sunday morning when the fridge compressor at the hotel exploded, completely destroying the establishment. Debris from the explosion was thrown as far as 100 meters, hitting Durga Bhavani Nagar Basti. Four nearby huts were damaged, and several electric poles were knocked down. A woman was reported injured in the incident.

Upon receiving the distress call, the Jubilee Hills police quickly arrived at the scene and began their investigation. DCP Vijaykumar and Jubilee Hills ACP Venkatagiri met with the hotel management to gather information. However, the hotel management has restricted media access to the site, raising questions and fueling suspicions about the incident.

Khairatabad MLA Dana Nagender also visited the location, spoke with local residents, and gathered details about the explosion.
