Hyderabad is ready for the World Jazz Festival

Hyderabad: The World's Jazz Festival makes a return to Hyderabad, with musicians of various corners of the world set to perform at Shilpakala Vedika, Hitec City on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Banyan Tree announced in a Thursday press release that it is organizing the World Jazz Festival. The Jazz Festival has a high aim for enriching the Jazz Scene in India. The event was organized together with one of the world's most significant and respected Jazz Festivals, the Amersfoort Jazz Festival in the Netherlands.

This year, the festival presents an extraordinary selection of jazz artists from around the world, for instance, Netherlands, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Brazil, Venezuela, Italy, and Surinam. The acts in this edition of the festival would be an eclectic combination of native Jazz Styles coming from Europe, South America, and Asia, as well as the signature American Jazz Standards.

The festivity will indeed provide for unique collaborations with Indian Musicians paying homage to India's rich musical heritage and providing a very unique fusion of jazz and Indian sounds.

The World Jazz Festival-this time around-is the complete world festival of jazz, emphasizing Indian music in a way that is unique yet augmenting to the experience, added the press statement.

Artists slated to perform at the Jazz festival include Round Midnight Orchestra ft. Graziëlla Hunsel Rivero, Lucas Santana Brazilian Experience, South African Jazz sensation Darren English, and the Femke Mooren Group, with Carolina Brusse set to lead the lineup for a Thai Jazz set by Pang Saxpackgirl.
