Hyderabad: Companies Struggle Amid Microsoft's Outage
A few employees in Hyderabad reported that they were unable to reboot their computers and others reported the blue screen error.

Microsoft’s Windows outage has led to disruptions in several services across the globe, including in India. Services like airlines, IT, stock market, and other industries have experienced disruptions on Friday. In India too, several companies were affected due to the outage.
Several employees in Hyderabad reported the issue when they tried to log in on Friday. They were greeted by the blue screen error instead of the normal screen, causing panic among employees.
While IT departments and developers of companies were busy solving the issue, other department employees vented their frustration over the outage as it has led to productivity loss.
A few said they were unable to reboot their computers and others reported the blue screen of death error.
Meanwhile, CrowdStrike and Microsoft came up with tips to resolve the issue.
For immediate fixes, CrowdStrike suggested these steps:
1. Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment (press F8 or Shift + F8 to enter Safe Mode).
2. Navigate to C:-Windows-System32-drivers-CrowdStrike.
3. Locate and delete the file matching "C-00000291*.sys".
4. Restart your computer normally.
