Green signal for Telangana’s Mamnoor Airport

Hyderabad: In a major boost for Telangana’s aviation infrastructure, Centre has approved the construction of Mamnoor Airport in Warangal. The announcement was made by Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who revealed that the State government has already released Rs205 crore for land acquisition.

The project has 696 acres of land and needs additional 253 acres. The new airport will include a runway extension, terminal building, air traffic control (ATC) tower, and navigation instrument installation, significantly enhancing travel options for residents of the region.
