FTCCI Hosts Talk On Ethics In Profession, Spirituality In Management

Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) hosted a talk on ‘Ethics in profession and spirituality in management,’ by Dr Gyanvatsal Swami, a motivational speaker, social reformer from Akshardham, and saint of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha.

Citing a 10-year long survey conducted in 8,000 companies by the University of Duke on, ‘What advantages does a goer to religious place have over a non-goer,’ he said that a goer to a religious place as compared to a non-goer under the same circumstances was found to be less susceptible to depression, tension, anxiety, and fear. He further said that leaders who go to spiritual places are found to be more composed, better leaders and manage adverse situations calmly without going through any stress, making them efficient leaders.

Talking about ethics in profession, Gyanvatsal Swami emphasised on the need for people to understand the true nature of money, understand life well, and understand what does unethical practices lead to. He advised the industry members present during the event to be spiritual in their approach, be empathetic and follow ethical practices. Speaking about unethical practices in the profession, Swami added that it has the power to tarnish talent while being ethical creates credibility.
