Environmental Stewardship meet for industry managers

Hyderabad: Environment Committee of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) said it is organising a programme on ‘Environmental Stewardship for Industry Managers,’ at FTCCI Surana Auditorium here, on Wednesday.
The programme, supported by Jeedimetla Effluent Treatment Ltd, will cover subjects such as Sustainability, Green Chemistry, Greenbelt and Ecosystem Services, Water Neutrality, Sustainable Procurement, e-Waste, and Water Pinch Analysis.
This programme empowers industry managers with the knowledge and tools to integrate sustainable practices into their operations, ensuring a positive impact on the environment while maintaining business excellence, an FTCCI release says.
Metlapalli Srinivasu, vice president, ESG, Suven Pharmaceuticals Ltd will present on Green Chemistry - Opportunities, Challenges and Way Forward. Kandarp Kishor Shivpuri, Counsellor, Water Pinch, will talk on Water Pinch Analysis; Shaily Maloo, Co-founder, EiSqr Solutions, will speak on Sustainable Procurement- Policy to Practice; Dr Kameswara Rao Kotamraju, former Professor will present on Industrial Green Belts: Enhancing Ecosystem; Purushotham Rao K, Refinery Manager, Re Sustainability Refining Reldan Pvt Ltd will speak on E-Waste Management- Impacts, Compliance, Requirements and Good Practices; and Sivananda, Associate Counsellor, Confederation of Indian Industry will delve on Water Neutrality - Policy to Planning.
