Hyderabad: The Hyderabad chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (Credai), an apex body of private real estate developers concluded its first of the series of ‘CREDAIbility’ themed property show at Hitex here. The organisers said that the three-day event witnessed a footfall of 30,000, registering 750 leads, and an additional 1,087 AI-generated online leads which resulted in total sale value of properties worth Rs 270 crore.

During the closing ceremony, M Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary, MAUD, highlighted that Hyderabad is one of the fastest-growing cities in India with a growth rate of 8.47 per cent. He announced that the CM has sanctioned projects worth Rs 6,000 crore for MAUD, which is significantly higher than the allocation in the state budget. He also outlined the initiatives taken up by the state government for infrastructure development including a Comprehensive Transit Plan for the city and adoption of technology.

In an official release Credai said that over the last two days, the home buyers visited 212 sites and were interested in total property space of 4,12,009 sqft.

V Rajashekhar Reddy, president, Credai Hyderabad said that the economic growth engine is the area up to ORR defined as the Core Urban Region (CUR) which accounts for 48.6 per cent of the population of the State. A budget allocation of Rs 10,000 crore will help accelerate the growth of this region. Moreover, the other development plans will encourage developers to make suburbs self-sustaining with amenities like parks, community halls, and schools alleviating pressure from local civic bodies. Promotion of satellite townships will act as major catalyst for the real estate sector, Reddy added.

Jagannath Rao - General Secretary, Credai Hyderabad said that the property show held across three prime locations in August, before the festive season, will offer home buyers with best real estate options in the city from reputed developers under one roof. He further said that this property show, aptly timed, will have on display housing projects ranging from affordable housing to ultra-luxury.
