Big update on Telangana’s Indiramma Housing Scheme: Special website launched for complaints

The Telangana government has introduced a significant update regarding the Indiramma Housing Scheme. A dedicated website has been launched to allow citizens to file complaints related to the Indiramma Housing Scheme. The new platform, indirammaindlu.telangana.gov.in, will enable people to address issues they face during the housing selection process.
Minister of Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, inaugurated the website and emphasized that complaints would be promptly addressed, with complainants receiving updates on actions taken via mobile notifications.
Currently, the survey for selecting eligible applicants is ongoing in Telangana, and the government plans to release the finalized beneficiary list by January 31, 2025, after the Sankranti festival. The selection will prioritize the poor who own land, with each beneficiary receiving Rs. 5 lakh to construct a house.
The government has also launched a mobile app to track and verify applications, collecting detailed data and photos of applicants. Over 65 lakh applicants have already been processed, with a target of completing the entire survey soon. After approval by the Gram Sabha, the list of beneficiaries will be finalized.
