Axis Bank Hosts Seminar For MSMEs

Hyderabad: Axis Bank, a private sector bank, hosted the 9th edition of ‘Evolve,’ its flagship knowledge-sharing seminar for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in Hyderabad on Thursday. Over 100 entrepreneurs from small, and medium enterprises attended the one-day event.

With the theme, ‘Future-proofing MSMEs for new-age business,’ the seminar focused on the importance of accepting innovation, digital transformation and operational resilience in an evolving business landscape.

On the occasion, Munish Sharda, Executive Director, Axis Bank, said: “MSMEs are the backbone of India’s economy, driving nearly one-third of the GDP and providing employment to millions. Vijay Shetty, Head – Commercial Banking Group, Axis Bank, Nuti Chakravarthy, Executive Vice President & Regional Branch Banking Head - South 2, Axis Bank and Saibal Sen Gupta, Senior Vice President - Treasury, Axis Bank, addressed the seminar. The panel discussion, moderated by Saurab Vadhera, Director, Small Business Banking, Commercial Banking Group, Axis Bank, featured panelists including Srinivasa Reddy, Managing Director, Suvarna Durga Group, Gaurav Soni, Founder and Managing Director, Botanic Healthcare Pvt Ltd, and Sridhar Gadhi, Founder and Group CEO, Paradigm Group and Quantela Inc, who shared their insights in the MSME sector.
