Ashoka Biz School Hosts Convocation In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Ashoka School of Business (ASB), an institute under the Ashoka Group of Institutions, held its convocation ceremony in Hyderabad. During the event, the Institution also shared its roadmap to become a University, and unveiled a master plan of 8.3 lakh sft new campus, besides laying the foundation stone for the library block ‘Ananta.’

Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, delivering the Convocation address emphasised on ethical leadership, continuous learning, and responsible entrepreneurship. In his address, the Governor called upon students to imbibe the qualities of ‘Learning, Ethical Integrity, Adaptability, Determination, Empathy, and Responsibility (Leader).’ He cited global Indian achievers like Sundar Pichai, Indra Nooyi, and Narayana Murthy as role models. Governor Varma felicitated A Haindhavi, S Shivani, P Hymavathi, and Ritika Nitin Kulkarni with gold medals and certificates. 97 students received their PG Diplomas, of which 45 were women.

Mahdi Shahrokhi, Consul General of Iran, shared insights on bilateral opportunities between India and Iran in his guest of honor address. He encouraged students to explore cross-border entrepreneurial and educational collaborations. Dr Sandeep Sharma, Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting, guided the graduating class on corporate etiquettes, and urged them to maintain agility and communication skills as pillars of long-term success at workplace. Chairman of Ashoka Group, Ashok Nomula and Director, Dr Y Lakshman Kumar, also addressed the students.
