Amazon and Infosys Announce Major Investments in Telangana
Amazon has committed to a ₹60,000 crore investment to expand data centres in Telangana, while Infosys plans to invest ₹750 crore in expanding its IT campus.

Amazon has announced a major investment in Telangana. During a meeting in Davos with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, Michael, the Vice President of Amazon Web Services Global Public Policy, confirmed an investment of ₹60,000 crore.
Amazon will expand its data centres in the state, and the government has agreed to provide the necessary land.
Meanwhile, Telangana’s IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao met with Infosys CFO, S. Sangraj, to discuss the expansion of the IT campus in Pocharam. Infosys has agreed to invest ₹750 crore in the first phase of the expansion, which is expected to create 17,000 new jobs, according to officials.
