Hyderabad: Artificial Intelligence Academy India 2024, a bootcamp organised in Hyderabad under a partner-ship between MATH, T-Hub and Google for Startups, provided 26 early-stage Telangana startups with hands-on training, expert mentorship, and resources.
Supported by MeitY Startup Hub, the bootcamp offered startups access to Google’s cutting-edge AI technologies, upto $350,000 in cloud credits, networking opportunities with Google experts and training to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for addressing global challenges across sectors like healthcare, climate, education, and infrastructure.
During the three-day bootcamp, startups worked on diverse challenges, including AI-powered solutions for education to revolutionise research and learning, climate change mitigation through geospatial analytics, and healthcare innovations like AI-based autism detection.
“This partnership with Google for Startups aligns perfectly with MATH’s mission to nurture In-dia’s AI ecosystem. Through this bootcamp, we aimed to empower startups to harness AI for ad-dressing critical global challenges and driving transformative change,” said Rahul Paith, CEO of MATH (an initiative led by the Department of Science and Technology, and housed in T-Hub).
