Reliance JioStar is poised to generate over Rs 6,000 crore in advertising revenue from the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), leveraging its TV and digital rights for the tournament. The company has already sold 90 per cent of its ad inventory, reflecting a 58 per cent surge from last year's Rs 3,900 crore, according to industry reports. Digital platforms are anticipated to contribute around 55 per cent of the total earnings.

The overall IPL 2025 ecosystem, spanning television, digital platforms, team sponsorships, and on-ground advertisements, is estimated to bring in Rs 6,000 crore to Rs 7,000 crore in total ad revenue. JioStar alone is targeting Rs 4,500 crore, up from Rs 4,000 crore in 2024.

JioStar has locked in deals with 12 sponsors across multiple categories. Key sponsorship packages, including co-presenting and co-powered slots, have been priced between Rs 106 crore and Rs 239 crore. Digital ad rates for Connected TV (CTV) stand at Rs 8.5 lakh per 10-second spot, while mobile video ads are set at Rs 250 per thousand impressions (CPM).

The 10 IPL franchises are projected to earn Rs 1,300 crore collectively from sponsorships. Prominent teams like Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are expected to secure between Rs 100 crore and Rs 150 crore each from sponsorship deals. Most team sponsorship slots are nearing full capacity, with eight to ten brand partnerships per team.

Jio and Dream11 have extended sponsorships across multiple teams, reinforcing their market presence during the tournament.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to generate between Rs 800 crore and Rs 900 crore from sponsorship deals. Key sponsors include Tata Group, My11Circle, Ceat, and AngelOne.
