IPL 2025, SRH vs GT Live Score: Gujarat titans dominate as Sunrisers Hyderabad struggle at home

The Sunrisers Hyderabad continue their downward spiral in IPL 2025 as they struggle to post a competitive total against the Gujarat Titans in Match 19 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. At the end of 17.3 overs, SRH are tottering at 126/6 with Aniket Verma (15 off 10) and skipper Pat Cummins (5 off 2) at the crease.
Electing to bowl first, Gujarat Titans have kept things tight with disciplined bowling and regular wickets. Prasidh Krishna was particularly impressive, finishing with figures of 2/25 in his four overs. R Sai Kishore also chipped in with a fantastic spell of 4-0-24-2, removing key middle-order batters Klaasen and Nitish Reddy at crucial moments.
Earlier, after a fiery start to the tournament where they smashed 286 in their opening match, SRH's batting unit has lost steam, failing to cross the 200-mark in the last three games. Coming into this match on the back of three consecutive losses — to Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and a crushing 80-run defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders — the pressure was high on Hyderabad’s top order. But once again, the big hitters couldn’t deliver.
Nitish Kumar Reddy tried to steady the innings with a composed knock, reaching a quick 30s before being dismissed by Sai Kishore. Klaasen showed some intent, smashing a few boundaries and a six off Rashid Khan, but his momentum was cut short as he was bowled for 27.
The Titans, who are placed third in the points table, look in firm control. Their bowlers, especially Rashid Khan and Prasidh Krishna, have applied constant pressure, not allowing the SRH batters any room to break free.
With just a few overs remaining, SRH will be hoping for a late flourish to reach a fighting total, while Gujarat will look to wrap up the innings quickly and continue their winning momentum under Shubman Gill’s leadership.
