The Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) in Hyderabad has introduced a citizen connect program aimed at facilitating access to government schemes and utilities for comprehensive social development.

This initiative targets the underrepresented Muslim minority community, aiming to boost their enrollment in government entitlements and schemes. Rahnumai Centers will be established in 15 to 20 mosques, primarily located in vulnerable urban slums, equipped with a dedicated app to document the details of each family, as per a press release.

These Rahnumai centers will actively encourage parents to enroll their children in government schools and assist single women in registering for various government entitlements, including old age pensions, widow pensions, and single women pensions.

Additionally, the program will offer pre-marital and post-marital counseling services along with legal assistance. Citizens will have the opportunity to connect with government hospitals for treatment and facilitate the acquisition of necessary documents such as LOC from relief funds, Ayushman Bharath, and Arogyasri Cards.
