CG Power clocks consolidated PAT at Rs 233.81 cr

Chennai: CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd has reported a consolidated profit after tax for the January-March 2024 quarter at Rs 233.81 crore. The company, part of the diversified conglomerate Murugappa Group, had reported a profit after tax of Rs 426.22 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the financial year ending March 31, 2024, the consolidated PAT grew to Rs 1,427.61 crore from Rs 962.97 crore registered in the same period last year. The consolidated total income for the quarter ending March 31, 2024 grew to Rs 2,239.83 crore, from Rs 1,917.05 crore registered in the same period last year. For the year ending March 31, 2024, the consolidated total income surged to Rs 8,152.24 crore as against Rs 7,040.30 crore registered in the same period of last year. In a statement, the company said it has paid an interim dividend of Rs 1.30 per equity share during the year ending March 31, 2024.

Rane Engine PAT remains flat at Rs 4.7 cr

Chennai: Rane Engine Valve Ltd on Tuesday reported a profit after tax for the January-March 2024 quarter at Rs 4.7 crore. The city-based manufacturer of engine valves, had clocked PAT at Rs 4.9 crore during the corresponding quarter of last year. For the year ending March 31, 2024, the profit after tax stood at Rs 11.5 crore, Rane Engine Valve Ltd said in a statement. Total revenue during the quarter under review grew to Rs 151.2 crore, as compared to Rs 136.5 crore registered in the corresponding period of last year. For the year ending March 31, 2024, the total revenue went up to Rs 570.3 crore, as against Rs 499.6 crore registered during the same period of last year.

IRB Infra net profit grows 45% to Rs 189 cr

New Delhi: IRB Infrastructure Developers on Tuesday reported a 45 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 188.87 crore for the March 2024 quarter, mainly due to higher income. Its net profit was Rs 130.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2023, the company said in a regulatory filing. Total income surged to Rs 2,504.49 crore from Rs 1,698.91 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses also rose to Rs 2,060.15 crore as against Rs 1,456.65 crore a year ago. The consolidated net profit rose to Rs 605.81 crore in fiscal 2023-24 compared to Rs 720.01 crore in FY23. The income for the entire year was Rs 8,201.76 crore over Rs 6,703.31 crore a year ago. In a separate statement, the company said it has paid Rs 181 crore as dividend for FY24, including a third interim dividend of 10 paise declared on Tuesday.

Truecaller’s net sales up 8% in India

New Delhi: Leading caller identification app Truecaller on Tuesday reported an 8 per cent increase in net sales in India in the first quarter (Q1) of the calendar year, saying that the country accounted for 74.2 per cent of the total net sales. India continues to remain one of the biggest markets for Truecaller as the region accounted for growth across three revenue streams – Truecaller for Business, Premium subscriptions and Ads, the company said in a statement. Net sales in India reached 316.8 million Swedish Krona (SEK) in the first quarter (Q1 FY24), compared to SEK 292.2 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
